Neighborhood disadvantage played a mediating role in explaining 8% of the racial difference in the probability of a high-risk recurrence score, statistically significant at P = .02.
In this investigation, the survival disparity in early-stage, ER-positive breast cancer among US women was similarly linked to racial variations in social determinants of health and markers of aggressive tumor biology, including a genomic biomarker.
